The idea to invest in Mario’s Bowling and Entertainment Palace was conceived over a decade ago while the late Mario Leroy Miller was completing an assignment in pursuance of a bachelor’s degree in Business. Through much research, feasibility studies and visitations this great idea was placed on the drawing board.
Even though he is no longer here to see it come to fruition, his family and the Bahamian public at large are able to bask in this entertaining venture.
Mario Leroy Miller was viciously murdered on June 22nd, 2002. At this time his father, Leslie O. Miller had already bought into this ‘grand idea’ and ground breaking steps were just weeks away. Even in the pain of his loss, his family is still propelled to ensure that Mario’s Bowling and Entertainment Palace is an environment that inculcates the Good Morning and How do you do?… Yes ma’am, Yes sir, Please and Thank you! Mentoring, positive parent and child interactions, opportunities to arrest social injustices will all be a part of this milieu.
Mario’s Bowling and Entertainment Palace is a ‘dream’ come true. It is the only bowling complex in New Providence and the largest in the Caribbean. It is considered a ‘Palace of Dreams’ for the young at heart, with entertainment features including: ultra-modern bowling lanes, roller skating rink, adult ultra-lounge, arcade room, billiards, family dining and much more!
